Default DOW II Expansion ideas

I was wondering what do you guys think about the new DOW II and how it could be improved with expansions like races, buildings again

I personally think they should try to add all the races because Relic stated they would have DOW II for 5 years so that gives them a long time for ideas

So for me more races and as I see there was no need to change it from WAR to SKIRMISH. You only use a little squad of 10-15 guys but in DOW I you had armies, tons of units to control and you cant customize squads or tanks as much as DOW I

I would like to see the Chaos Space Marines added to the game as it doesn't feel right without them.

I think it would be fairly easy to add the IG as the infantry models are already in the game.

More men, proper unit sizes, access to all hardware/troop types and armies, put bases back in.
basicly i want epic war on a larger scale than was possible with DOW, i dont want DOW kill team which is what we got with DOW2,till they fix that im out.

basically make it DoW with better graphics and increased capabilities. that would be a great expansion, could actually justify buying the game then.

I agree with Proccor and bitsandkits the most little squads isnt war unless you get hundreds of guys

God, a lot more hate from the heresy community than I expected. As it stands I think DOW 2 is a neat game and feels much closer to the tabletop game then DOW 1 did. Expansion wise obviously I'd like a new race or two. Something like tau or IG would suit me more. CSM would offer a very similar playing style to SM and would feel a bit redundant in my eyes. Hated necrons in DOW 1 and I can't see them being much better in DOW 2.

In addition to races, I'd love a huge map pack release, and a game mode like....hmm well for those that have played TF2 it would be similar to maps like goldrush where you have small battles on one front, and the attackers push forward. Sorta like DOW dark crusade campaign, but more fluid, feeling like rounds rather then entirely different battles. Plus just more additional content...more commanders...more units...more everything.

That would be my ideal world expansion. In reality we'll probably get CSM, 4 new maps and an extra unit for each race. C'est la vie

what would be cool is for the skirmish mode to have proper commanders. example: for space marines- captain, librarian, chaplain and then maybe use apothecary, techmarine, and a company champion as secondary leaders. but maybe that system would be difficult for orks or tyranids. anyway awesome game
