for an rts on the 360 its pretty good, but having a laptop that can run most current games on high. its not really worth it for me. but if ur a diehard halo fan and love its lore and love rts then u should probably, at the least rent this game.

but thats jut my 2 cents

Grizzlys are a bit over rated because a banshee or 2 could smash it and to add on they get pwned by all leader powers. The grizzly also is ot done by a pair of fully upgraded hunters because of bonus damage while still alive and a beam to fight with and an anti HMG shield.

ODSTs are all rounders because of a 6 man sqaud with a medic, RPGs, shotguns and the Spirit of Fire "Hot-Drop" system.

HAHA - you didn't HAVE to post!

But yes, awesome sauce aside, Halo Wars is a good game.

Oh I really did. For while there are poor misguided individuals out there... I will endeavour to enlighten them.

Have you played any other RTS on the Xbox? ... Have you played any other RTS games...?

Its not a bad game, it did keep me entertained for a whole day. Its just so... Simple. There is such a small selection of units and the strategic depth, isn't very deep. Its might be good for a "My first RTS". Actually probably not, you're view on strategy games would be tainted I couldn't think of it as the same when they had to try multiple methods to stop rushing to please some people.

Don't get me wrong, I understand rushing isn't everyone's cup of tea. Just don't boast about being a great competitive multiplayer experience and try to cut out one of the key elements of competitive RTS...

You should really give Tiberium Wars and then Kane's wrath a try. That's a brilliant story and the my personal favourite RTS game. Try it on the PC if you can, the Xbox version has a few balancing issues.

There's always Supreme Commander, but that certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea. Damn amazing game though one of the best.

I got Halo Wars. I like the Brute Chieftain.
I think the game would have been MUCH better on the PC. Oh well.

Concrete Hero, you and I have more in common than you know. C&C is the BEST RTS series out there. Supreme Commander was good too, but I never completed any of the campaigns. I was going to get the expansion, but I figured I wouldn't play that much either. Empire Earth 2 is also a really ld RTS that I still play. Sar Wars Empire At War was also a great game.
