I prefer to play anything multi player as It makes me live the game more. Even if the person Im playing with is a complete morron and dies every ten seconds! At least I get a good laugh .But then I go through the game again on single player just because just to say I did it alone!

Hungry like the woooollllfff

It really depends on the type of game, and how it was geared.. take L4D for instance.. That game really could only be a multiplayer game.. they do a great job for singleplayer, but even if there was 2dozen more maps or a campaign mode, it wouldnt be much at all.

I like both; sometimes I'm in the mood for one or the other. Take this table, for example:

Single Player
-Doesn't require the kind of balance that Multiplayer does, and thus I can both powergame and not feel bad about it!
-Sometimes all I want to do is shoot fish in a barrel, and Single Player FPSes are exactly what the doctor ordered.
-There are those days where you just don't want to put up with other people's bullshit.

-Nothing is more satisfying than splattering some asshole's E-Brains all over some E-Wall with my E-Bullets.
-People, on average, are much smarter than AI's, which makes for a more rewarding experience.
-Pissing people off on Xbox Live is hilarious.
