Default Favourite weapon of all time!

Basically I'd just like to see what weapon people love to see in a game. Coudl be a special weapon, a common weapon, a weapon from any era, system or style. Even if it's not real!

Just post them up, a picture if you want, and why you like them

If you shit in one hand and wish in the other we all know which one will fill up faster.

And as I walk in the valley of the shadow of death I will have no fear For I am the scariest mother f*cker in that goddamned valley!

Damn nature, You Scary!!!

Hmm...plasma weapons aren't as fun in videogames as they are in 40k, so they're ruled out.

The Torque Bow, Gears of War 1-2 and possibly 3

Super fun to use! A lot of people call it a n00b t00b, but I disagree. First of all, it's hard as hell to hit something with it. Secondly, shut the hell up with that 1337speak bullcocky.

Hmm I would have to say...now I'm not 100% sure of the name, but it's from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and it's the VLA special sniper rifle I believe. Something about the scope, combined with automatic fire, a silencer and subsonic rounds so they are affected by gravity (making the kills very satisfying) makes it my favourite weapon.

I don't know... Spartan Laser from Halo 3, Gravity Hammer from Halo 3 or Hammer of Dawn from Gears of War 1. Tough decision. Grav Hammer makes grunts, brutes, spartans and marines fly. Spartan Laser destroys anything it fires at, and is very fun to fire at to make brutes who annoy you fly because they've got Fuel Rod Cannons. And Hammer of Dawn is very destructive. I'll let you guys choose.

Small but very destructive

The G36 in any shape and form. Ever since playing Operation Flashpoint: Elite it has been my weapon of choice in any game if I need something mobile. On burst fire (a setting sadly lacking in many games) it tears up infantry like no one's business.

However, mobile isn't really my style. I'm a very defensive player. The M249 in any online shooter is excellent. Just go prone, ADS and let her rip.
