Icon Too Violent?

Hi. i was looking around at games and i came across this one game that looks good but just might be a bit violent. It's called mad world heres a video:
Not for the faint of heart.
DarknessWithin

P.S. on a scale of 1-10 how violent do you think it is?

Fear the Darkness Within yourself, for there is no escape, there is no Mercy. Be afraid of the Dark, for it's here...

Only slightly more violent than Sin City, but it's just a bunch of stylized violence. That having been said, it is waaaaay too over the top for anyone under the age of 18.

Meh, I'm waiting for the unwashed masses to start running around screaming that this game is too violent for our children! Oh won't somebody think of the children?!

The violence is a bit too comicy and stylised so I wouldn't say its too violent because of that - but it deserves an 18 rating.

Actually the creaters of the game were going for a Tom and Jerry style of violence, like for example in one level you throw them into a thing of hot batter and then they are put on a plate next to some fries.

What it deserves is a knighthood for the designers!
This is highly stylized, Cyberpunk-influenced violence. Gee, not at all like a certain book and film in the past called The Running Man, right?

lol, umm that doesnt look that violent to me, yeah it has lots of blood but so do most video games, what about quake 4, thats worse, it had intestines and a bit of brains showing around the place, it was really disturbing, world at war, has blood, severed limbs that are designed to look like severed limbs, imo thats worse then a little bit of blood floating around.

a warning on a crossbow

Its pathetically exaggerated violence. It's more comical than shocking, realistic violence is worse.

Thumping fists, shanking, stamping on heads etc. Not some crappy looking black and white cartoon with batman style "POW" and "THWACK" flying up on the screen.

What worries me is that people actually like this shit

To quote the great George Carlin on this one: "F*** the children!"^^

It's only comic violence... but the artstyle is nice. I wouldn't be able to look it it for houres, though, would make me dizzy.
