Default Quick COD5 question

OK so I just got this game a little while ago and am trying to decide which weapon is the "one for me". ON COD4 it was always either the AK-47 or the R700. I've been testing loads and I was wondering, is it worth building the M1 Garand up to have a sniper scope. From the stats I can see that its more powerful than the springfield. Has anyone got the sniper scope on the Garand, and if so is it effective?

first off, what game mode do you play, if its hardcore the Springfield will kill in one shot even if they have jugganaught. ive never got the M1 Garand that far so i cant tell you. probably a sub machine gun will do as a replacement for the Ak, not the MP40, the recoils horrible on that, prob try the PPSH, thats good, so is the thompson, sure its a starter but it gets the job done, Type 100 is also good from my memory (been a while since i used it)

a warning on a crossbow

'It is a serious piece of killing equipment and should not be purchased by children under the age of 9. '

if your bored my MSN is hells_fury@live.com, add me and ill talk with anyone :p

You're better off with the Springfield, mate.

I have used it, but as more of a joke. The rate of fire is nice, but it kicks like a mule. Works well with stopping power. GL

To my understanding, that is pretty much the real difference between the two. Guaranteed one-shot kill with a reload between shots, or two shot kills with a fast rate of fire.

If you feel pretty confident with your aim, I'd vote for the M-1. That and it's a bit better when enemies get too close.

Fear the blindman!!! ::charges off::
