Default Favorite: RESIDENT EVIL!!!

okay here it is, whats you favorite resident evil, this can be either in terms of gameplay, story, monsters/characters

so i'll go first

for gameplay: resi 4, if only they could do the gameplay system for the previous resi's i loved being able to blast out a peasants knee caps and then kick is head in

for story: no clear winner

for character/monsters: 3, nemesis need i say more

so come on keep them coming!

p.s. please do not reply if you dont like resident evil, this thread is very clearly for those who do, and if you dont like resident evil why cause hassle?

Gameplay: I liked RE:Rebirth (the GC remake of the first one) because it took a classic game and made it look and player better. 4 was good, but it just felt like a different game to me.

Story: Again, RE:Rebirth. You've got the story from the first one, plus a few extra things that bring the larger story into focus.

Characters: RE2. I'm about to sound a little weird but I had a crush on Claire Redfield for like 5 years lol.

On a personal note, I can't understand why they're introducing new main characters into the story. They've already got one of gaming history's best all-star casts and they could easily write a great story with just the main characters they've made so far.

Wait...Capcom? Write a story? Lolz

Resident Evil 2 for me, the story that revealed itself during the game was excellent, the split character gameplay was also a nice touch seeing it from different angles as well. It also felt like the longest one, partially because of the two characters, although Veronica was probably longer if I think about it.

But aye, the Birkin story is one I really liked.

4, i loved 3 but this was so diffrent yet the same, it was scary (the sound of dynamit bieng lit is really scary) the later stages where the game discourages headshots was a nice change of pace although nothing beats nemisis in 3 bursting through a window with a rokit launcher, god that scared the shit out of me :p

a warning on a crossbow
