Default Mortal Kombat vs. DC universe

So, I haven't followed game releases for a while but I went to blockbuster to rent COD5 and there it was. I think that is the funniest looking game I have ever seen and I am excited to play it. Its a combination of the things I loved the most as a child. I played MK for SNES when i was 5, back when reptile was a ninjs with a green headband. And that was the time I was batman for halloween. Now I can make them fight to the death. So I was wondering has anyone played it? if so was it any good? Yes, I understand that it will be like every MK game before it but i just want to know.

Hello fellow bees, hows the abdomen? Swollen with honey I trust.

Problem is that Kabal, Cyrax and Sektor aren't in it.
This means it fails, as they're the three best characters.

I might rent it just for the nostalgia trip.

On the subject of Rat Ogres:
But if we give them laser eyes and mounted guns, we'll have to bring in Clan Skryre, and everyone knows how much those limp-tailed snuff addicts overcharge.

I saw a vid of superman traveling back in time, and killing a guys mom before he was born as a finish-him.

I have it, I love it. My only real beef with the game is that the DC good guys don't do fatalities. The do Heroic Brutalities instead and while they are cool, they don't kill the opponent.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

Yeah, but it's against the rules for some of the DC good guys to kill people. Like, Batman doesn't kill anyone, but he'll beat them until they're legally retarded, which is almost as good.

I've always been a fan of fighting games where you're armed more than the punch each other silly ones-- Soul Calibur is a favorite of mine-- but Mortal Kombat vs DC looks like a lot of fun...

Watched a video of all the fataities and the only thing that makes the folks alive from most of the heroic Brutalities is they are twitching, other then that they look dead or they should be dead IMHO.

Thats why I like marvel better than DC. Spiderman woulda killed a guy if he had a reason.

No Spiderman wouldn't, (I'm not saying he's never killed before, but then again Superman has killed before- just the once) but unless he was under some sort of control by an external source Spiderman would never choose to kill any more than the DC good guys.

Now Marvel does seem to have a higher percentage of anti-heroes willing to kill and kill again than DC, but the main stream 'wonder'-heroes are no more morally ambiguous than DC's.
