Default How's your PC?

With PCs being the dominant gaming machine ( this is general opinion, not fact) due to their power and customisable specs I was wondering what specs people have for their PCs and how much they cost, was it worth it and what they use it for most.

Mine I bought from Komplett.ie, It has 2gb ram, a 512mb graphics card with all the latest pixel and vortex shaders, 2.2 dualcore processor(total comes to 4.3), a 250gb hard drive, a 22" LCD widescreen monitor which is 1080p, a 7.1 surround sound system with big ass subwoofer, and wireless optimum gaming keyboard and mouse. Got A lot of gaming software, catalyst control center, C++ programming etc, Full Microsoft office latest version and lots more random bits and bobs. Total came up to 980 for that and It's the sexy sex.

How's your PC then?

If you shit in one hand and wish in the other we all know which one will fill up faster.

Nice. y mother board and case are Gigabyte too. good company. It's a black case with blue leds coming out the wazoo, plus 5 fans. I didn't get a card port though.... Kind of regret it too...

I brought mine off a gamer's site in March this year after my old one finally went kaput after 4yrs.

4gb RAM although with Windows XP (I also dislike Vista) it only counts 3.12gb, Intel Core duo 2.62ghz processor (not sure what that is duo'd) Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT, 1/1000 Ethernet port, 22" LCD widescreen Monitor, 460GB Harddrive, 7.1 Surround sound with subwoofer, wired (disllike wireless) Gaming keyboard and usb infrared mouse, various bits and bobs, everything you needed to run most decent games at the start of the year. Cost me about £680.

current specs at the moment(untill i can afford a good rebuild):
AMD 64 3800 dual core (old socket 939)
2 GB ram(ddr400)
msi neo 4f mobo
8600 gts 256 mb graphics
DVD burner
and 4 hard drives totaling about 1000bg of space

runs most games at med to high sttings (depending on game), main downside at the mo is the cpu isnt good enough for Brothers in arms:hells highway

Brothers in Arms doesn't play on mine apparently according to www.canyourunit.com but That's because my processor isn't one of the ones that's listed... It plays grand then... same with STALKER 2 and Crysis Warhead... And Druchii your external hardware sounds a lot like mine
