I currently have a 3 year old HP with an Intel chipset.

3.2Ghz Single Core (2mb cache)
ASUS motherboard
1GB RAM
7600 GT Extreme Edition (An amazing card)
Lightscribe/DVD-Rom
DVD-Rom
Memory card reader
Basic keyboard & mouse

She serves me well, and can play everything I pick up off the shelf at max (Except Crysis and Farcry 2) which is very good considering her age and parts. It cost around £900 when we bought it (Not including the card upgrade, which was £107) and will last for about a year or two before she'll really show her age. You can get a computer like this for around £350 now.

1500pts Celestial Lions
1000pts Warboss Judge Skull'Umper
500pts Vostroyan & Cadian 119th

I think mines the shittiest here!

80 quid off ebay

Doesn't play any games since they're all shit, allows me to download films, music, sorts my Ipod out and runs FTP programs.

Am I the only one that thinks video games are boring? I'd rather go for a run.

my laptop $400 second hand

intel core duo 2.0GHZ
1GB DDR2 ram
no graphics card
120GB hard drive

my desktops $1000 in total

i brought this last year for $700

AMD core duo 3.0GHZ
2GB DDR2 ram
512MB 8500GT graphics card
300GB hard drive

i then brought this for $300
intel core duo 2.2GHZ
2GB DDR2 ram
512 3870 graphics card
wireless networking card

and made this

AMD core duo 3.0GHZ
4GB DDR2 ram
512MB 3870 graphics card
300GB hard drive
wireless networking card

it plays everything with ease on the highest setting

to those who don't know what core duo and quad core processors ar il give a brief description.

back in the days of pentium 1-4 intel only worked on making the processors go faster and faster. this all ended when they hit a wall at 3.2GHZ area as the cooling required wasnt worth it to go faster. So instead of working on making them faster they made the processors smaller.

A core duo processor is two processors put on the chip while a quad core is 4 processors on the chip.

because there is two processors doesn't mean you add the speed of each together and you get the total speed. the way it works is the programs are coded so one processor is doing one thing while the other is doing something else which means they get two things done at a time.

hope you all understood that as im kinda failage at giving descriptions
