Never rely on highly trained marines, they are always kinda dumb.

No matter what your wearing, somehow your allies always look cooler.

Guy in tank always wins.

A spaceship going boom can royally fuck up a universe destroying ringworld.

American 10 year olds whose voice will never break always seem to have a mic.

The aforementioned mic is on overdrive, and your eardrums will explode.

whenever you get owned, the killer will be someone called "Dankj0s0lj6b0y"

Nukes are always big and own all.

Artillery strikes are always called from a big computer.

Snipers are bastards.

watch out for huge demon/robots...(doom)
blades are better than guns (Armored core 4)
Slow and steady usually dies alot. (Dawn of War)
the bigger they are the harder they hit (Starcraft)
sometimes those pieces of crap you think are useless can make you a good profit (WoW)

Killing hundreds of people and being chased by tons of cops can all of a sudden be stopped by painting your car another color (GTA)

You can survive being shot 10-20 times... other people get hit 2-3 times when in full body armor die (almost all shooters)

Every super powered ultimate gun of doomness and death will be named a BFG with diffrential numbers on the end of it, ie 1000, 3000, 2000, 3, (Shooter everywhere)

everybody that is there to help you and is supposed to be well trained will die in the first level. (Survival games)

Rocks, ruble and cover is your best friend (Gears of War)
Reincarnation is real (any game that lets you have more than one try)
D & D is a great engine if you don't have to write or roll dice (Knights of the Old Republic)

That which doesn't kill me has made a tactical mistake.

lol I think someone could start a new thread called "Things that WoW has taught you" and gets some amazing answers.

For me, it taught me more about a living economy than my 'economy' class lol
