I'd say compleating Final Fantasy VII, at the time that was pretty intense for me. Also some of those final battles where almost siding towards silly they took so long.

Finishing a few games in one night in an orgy of gaming indulgence. Gears of war was the last one, co-op with a friend. Good fun, but dayum if we didn't nearly pull an all nighter.

In Halo 3 I played the St. Valentine's Day Massacre playlist for five days last Feb., and took three personal days to do it, living on pizza and beer. Ended with an Overkill (which unlocked that BA Elite armor!!! Commando FTW!!!)

Rolling in at Number 2 would be getting the Steppin' Razor achievement (also H3), which is IMO the most insane one of the lot. 3 energy sword (melee) kills in 4 seconds. Madness!

You'll forgive me, but you must be mistaken. I've met your makers, and they don't even know your name...

Beating me second highest score on Tetris... That was an epic game. An Hour straight!!

Ooo, the day I got a lot of the major achievements in Halo in one day: Overkill, Stepping razor and two for one... I was baffled
