Default Spore

I thought Spore would be a fun game to mess around with once in a while. Dear Emperor was I wrong... I think Spore might possibly the most retardedly addictive game made for quite a while. I bought it, sat down, and played from a single cell to a space-faring civilization, and looked at the clock... and fifteen hours had passed. I didn't even notice the time go by.

If you have ten minutes to kill, you can sit down and make a 40k thing on there-- I've seen some pretty good Tyranids, and I've been trying to make a Lunar-class cruiser on the ship creator. If you're drunk, Sporn is fucking funny, too (that would be making an alien that's a disembodied dick, for example, and unleashing said dick monster upon the internet population which may or may not consist of small children and/or bible thumpers.)

It sounds like a dumb game at first glance, but if you sit down and just play with it without any real expectations, you'll be hooked. I'm totally blown away by it. Anyone else picked up Spore yet?

I was disappointed with Spore, I thought it would have a lot more content than it does. But yeh, totally fun when you're drunk lol.

Bah the game is really fun...right until you hit space age. I think at that point it's just waaaayyyy too much micromanagement. I have a hard time dealing with 3 alien invasions and 2 ecodisasters at the same time. Terraforming is addictive though.

Ah, but behold there is benevolence behind this but don't stare though cause I'll kill you with kindness

I've seen a couple of pretty good tyranid impersonations around the web, done with the creature creator. Any with the game tried to create a space marine looking creature? could be fun
