Need the Fast and Furios Gaming Desktops!!

So after a good 4 years of service my HP dV6 series Laptop is starting to eat it in both hardware and performance; thus I have realized I need to move on. I've done some prelimenary search for a good Desktop gaming computer but wanted to ask for some suggestions/advice in selecting a new model. To that end their are 4 requirements that I need in this computer......

1) High Speed, Low Lag! : As my military buddies put it I need a computer that is top notch on Online performance. This means little to now Lag, with a good FPS (Frames per Second) for major gaming on PS2 and CH2. Also something that is "adaptable? A freind mentioned this in regards to the PC's ability to adapt to other players Graphic's levels (this is a new concept for me).

2) Graphics: I need a PC with can play High-end Graphic's games at good speeds with good FPS. It gets old playing most games on Ultra-Low settings just to keep pace with other computers. The best Graphics Cards would be nice.

3) Built for Gaming!!: While this is not all that important to me I want something that looks the part; not just feels it. Something that doesn't sacrifice performance for looks, but has a cool edge to it. Something that is Designed solely for Gaming, and nothing else as this is all the role it will fullfill.

4) Durability: Last but not least this new PC must be built to last. This means Customizability to upgrade in the future, good Power settingas so that it doesn't burn out the Hardware too quickly, and Durable parts that don't require too much Maintenance.

If you know any good/great PC Desktops that meet these requirements please post as I need the guidance. thnxs again folks

Why the fuck would you need to have something adapt to other players graphics settings?

Have a look at a site like pcspecialist. It is a UK site, but I'm sure there's an american version. The benefit is that you can sign up, make yourself a PC, post the specs to the forum, and people can comment.

In short, you're going to want 2 Hard drives, one of them an SSD that is reserved purely for games - Install Steam, Origin, etc on the Solid State Drive. It shortens load times considerably. Might want to put up other lengthy loading programs, like Photoshop etc on the SSD as well.

If you're building it yourself, it's a lot cheaper. You can buy the parts from Newegg or something, but it's kind of daunting unless you've had practise on smaller kits.
