Default Wolfenstein the new order.

Just picked it up today for 360 PC isn't capable of playing it.

Opened the case looked at the disc and thought to myself, that disc looks huge. I then realize that it's not one or two discs it's four.

My reactions.

I don't care what the game is like I don't care if it sucks The last time I saw a four disc game was final fantasy 9.

Anyways onwards to the game. It's a Bethesda game, meaning it's going to be fun.

I got it for the PS4 and it's only 1 disc.
Far as gameplay goes, it's pretty awesome! Only put a few hours into it so far, but am having a lot of fun with it. Nazi blood EVERY WHERE when I got the automatic shotgun!

I'm all about the throwing knives.

I encountered a few bugs such as falling through the floor and dudes frozen in place unkillable to anything but grenades.

Plot actually is interesting.

Was about to download a copy of the game onto my one this afternoon, but then I saw how much memory that thing needs and I'll pick up an actual copy this week. Can't fucking wait!

One thing I am happy to see again: health packs and non regenerating health. Alright, yes it can regenerate but only to certain points like the original resistance.

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

I ran into an interesting situation. I was trying to progress down this hall so I was taking cover and shooting, every time I peeked out I got shot and lost health died three times to it. Before I finally realize I was getting hit by my allies bullets.

The trailer makes it look like it could be quite interesting to play, lots of options as to how to use the environment to your advantage. I'm currently looking for a new game and am tossing up between this and B4. It's nice to see companies are still making games like this for PS3/360 as well as next gen consoles.

No. It is not a Bethesda game. It is a MachineGames (Ex-Starbreeze) game. The Publisher does not deserve credit for the work of the developer. That's like giving credit to a record label for a band recording an album. The only games Bethesda create these days are the Elder Scrolls and one of the currently released Fallout games.

As for the game itself, it's not bad by any means, and is a lot of fun. It's no Return to Castle Wolfenstein but after that benchmark of the series it could only go downhill so that's not surprising.

Personally, I'm more interested in the Doom 4 beta anyway. A flashy remake/re-imagining of Hell On Earth? What's not to like?

Most of the time publishers do have a say as to what goes into a game.

However, as Wolfenstein is competent out of the box without extensive modding, it's fairly safe to say Zenimax's marketing department didn't get much of an input.
