Default Graphics card question.

Hello all I come here to the mighty tech adepts of heresy online with a question. I was wondering if the gtx 650 graphics card can cope with many of today's new games?. Sorry if this question is quite broad but I'm not wanting to sink money into this without some assurance.

Hi mate,

When shopping for GFX cards, I always check out the benchmark they get by 3Dmark and how they compare to other cards. It may not be the absolute truth, but it is a simple and easy-to-understand benchmark about how powerfull a GFX card is.

I looked up the card you are asking about, and you can find it on this list:

It is ranked number 27, and the score will most likely give you a decent performance in most modern games. In high performance games, you probably won't be able to set it above medium quality though, if you want to keep it above 40 FPS.

If you're thinking about a card in that general performance-rate, I would recommend that you go with a GTX 660 instead. The value for money is better (roughly 100 quid) and it is a bit more popular.

I hope that helped!
