Nobody is talking about this? Who has played Ground Zeroes, or are fans of the series in general?

Huge fan of the series, but I'm not paying for an hour worth of gameplay with GZ :/

On a side note, I found this on the internet. I did not make it:

If someone lacks intelligence, than he is not stupid, because one cannot be stupid without intelligence.

If someone reverts to having to complain about your grammar, then you already won.

Really liked 2 and fucking loved 3. I picked up 4 finally at the start of the year and I couldn't play it, well I tried but having to sit through 20 minutes of cut screens (some of which involved an irritating NPC having the shits) for every 5 minutes of gameplay put me off (also the reason I stopped playing ME3), if I want to watch TV I'll watch TV.

So yeah... was a big fan but not really any more.

Played and beat the main story for Ground Zeros along with some of the side mission stuff. I'm getting some mileage out of it, but not everyone will. Especially people who are better at the game than me.

The ending actually was hard to watch because of how graphic part of it was. And a spoiler regarding the ending of that main story mission:

I bought it as I'm a huge MGS fan. Enjoyed it as a good taste of what to expect from The Phantom Pain.

Well, you wouldn't be anyway. Yes, if you do it with the sole intention, it's possible to rush through the main story in barely any time at all, but you're missing practically everything there is to do if you do so. Your argument is like saying that Dark Souls is shallow and not worth the money because the entire thing can be run in 50 minutes. (Well, 51:14).

While GZ isn't the longest game in the world, it was never meant to be. It was supposed to be a prologue to The Phantom Pain and the mechanics therein, while giving a section similar to the Tanker chapter of MGS2. However, GZ also has various alternative playthroughs, modes and options. It is for this reason it was released at the low price point it was, and will only get cheaper over time.

It's definitely worth picking up at the original price, but if you can find it used for cheaper you're doing yourself a disservice to not pick it up if you really are a fan of the series.

It also made me very happy with Kiefer Sutherland as Big Boss, and that freaking ending was epic.

I still hold out that Solid Snake will be in that Phantom Pain and thats why David Hayter isnt doing Big Boss

I paid $30 at Wal*Mart and feel I got a fair amount of game for the money on that front personally.

Oh, and it got me to play Peace Walker because I am now genuinely curious who Paz and Chico are. I'm not at the point were you have to fight the tank. I think I'm going to spend some time replaying older missions and "recruiting" more people first just so I can have some better equipment for this fight.
