Default Woot war beta.

Can't say much but am very impressed. I really like how close they keep to the fluff..it's just awsome.
also in the WOLK, WoW beta.

Yeah, well the Space Marines never dropped forty thousand feet in a drop pod WITHOUT power armor.

Sweet.

I dont really play any MMO's but I was considering this one, there is so much to it from the looks of it. Although I saw the cut out all the other races citys apart from the human ones. Whats a WAAAAAAAAAARGH without a base eh?

Sadly I read that its a monthly payment thing. Why should I have to re-buy the game every month? Its blatant money grabbing.

The alternative is that they don't ask for monthly fees, and the game doesn't get updated, bugs don't get fixed, the storyline isn't expanded on, classes aren't tweaked and servers aren't maintained. Staff don't work for free.

Either way, I'm considering WAR as well, although MMO's usually = bane of life.

MMOs are soul sucking evil creations. WAR however looks good enough that I might just risk purgatory to be able to wail on some dwarves and elves as a champion of chaos.

Ah, but behold there is benevolence behind this but don't stare though cause I'll kill you with kindness

How's Wrath shaping up from your POV Morgal?

And I am jealous of the Closed Beta for WAR

Any particular class/race your favourite?

This is an incredible game. From the moment I began to the very instance I've been locked in combat with High Elves. Of course I chose the Dark Elf Whych as my starting character. WAR plays fast, is easy to get into, and is action packed.

The PVP is incredible. You can deploy into team PVP scenarios, and the better you do for your side (Destruction versus Order) the greater the global rewards become for all of the online players in your area.

I also took a flight path to the true battle front of the game (Chaos versus Empire) and helped the forces of Destruction contest the borders against the Empire. There was roughly 90+ players actively contesting the borders in an eternal stalemate of combat. Each side pusing the other back far enough to see the Heavy Support weapons, turn tail and run.

The options for players to enjoy themselves are huge, because the game isn't just PVP.

There's plenty of side quests for non-competitive fluff exploration. There's also a new Public Quest system that allows you to enter a large area and raid with all of the other players inside the area without having to go through the hassle of forming a party.

I must admit, I've never played an MMO that got you so involved so quickly. While I enjoy WOW I just dont see it standing up to WAR. The time has finally come :D

Default Semi-related

High quality version here.

If the game itself is half as epic as this trailer, count me in.

NDA lifted.
So feel free to ask questions.

I will say this game is awsome, really rewards group tactics.

I tend to enjoy healers in games so been playing with the shaman and zealot. Both are awsome but thinking i will go with zealot as it is more healing focused.

The chosen is also a balst and if i was not a healer i would look hard at a chosen.

Love the ork zones as there just funny...just watch those orks near the catapults...they may stick you on one... While traveling through the air you think "this did not end well for the ork in the trailer".

Also plain a few other when leveled to 31 for testing. Dwarves are fun, as are witch hunters. I think wichhunters and murauders do some of the best dmg in the game.

PvP is a lot of fun, and it is every where. Has a lot of neat features.

Yeah, well the Space Marines never dropped forty thousand feet in a drop pod WITHOUT power armor.

Bah. Pay to play, fuck that.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?
