If it's accessible ~£120 or less, I might get it. Otherwise, I'm not fussed; sony might have dodgier business practises than the AA, but I think I'm really turning into a sonyholic; got the Xperia S, Bravia television linked into it, will be getting a PS3... I just hope they become as interconnected as apple.

something I missed initially,
xbox one will require to connect to the internet once a day minimum, even for single player games,
so if your internet goes down over the weekend, that happens about every other month to me, then you may not be able to play single player games.

Microsoft are apparently shocked by the poor feedback they are getting from potential customers

All right, but apart from the sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

That‘s fucking retarded, and if it stays in place I will not touch this thing with a long stick.

[Flerden] 9:05 pm: Why the hell can't he just go offline if he goes to watc tv?
[dark angel] 9:06 pm: It is Doelago, we will never know

if they get enough bad feedback I suspect it will change

I need a bluray player, i may as well get oen that plays games. Will just see whether this or the latest PS is the better priced/featured at the time.

That said my £20 raspberry pi is probably a better media centre.

Not a console person but I will say that if the majority is a**ed enough about it it might change. I suspect however that they will follow the same principal as Activision and the developers of the COD franchise "our way or the highway"

playstation went that way when the PS3 was announced, it's taken them a good few years to catch up and probably cost them millions of lost revenue,
the non gaming stuff is a nice addition but it's an addition, not the selling point for many.

Microsoft seem to be pushing two things especially, the TV service and Kinect 2.0 Built in.

The whole TV part sounds okay, except for the fact it's currently only aimed at the US, seriously.

Kinect 2.0, some are keen others are not.

Now the Xbox one may well turn out to be "the console" but yesterdays confused, ill targeted press release was about as convincing as me in a dress.
