Blacklight Retribution

It's a F2P Cyberpunk shooter. I play it quite a bit. If competitive gameplay isn't your thing, there's a coop mode that's a lode of fun.

It's got a shitload of character and weapon customization, too.

I downloaded it awhile ago, but the connection was so bad I couldn't play, I don't know if this is because my internet was screwing up or the servers. I should remember to give it another try.

I played it on a binge at the end of closed and beginning of open beta. It's an alright game, it's shallow though, with a lot of pay-to-win advantages (even if small, they add up to A LOT for people who spends thousands - and there are more of those than you think) oh and the servers downright suck.

After Natural Selection 2 came out, I haven't touched BL:R. NS2 is my personal favourite multiplayer FPS of the decade. (Not 2010 - 2013, but 2003 - 2013!)

I'd definitely say NS2 is better. But it's 20 bucks! For the gamer on a budget, BLR is probably better.

The coop mode makes in much easier to get money now. You can get 2-300+ in-game cash every game, which is around 20 minutes (by comparison, playing competitively nets you 50-100 less in the same time frame)

Dude. 20 bucks. For something that they could easily charge 60 bucks for! And most publishers would!

Also, it's half price now on Steam for the "Gorgeous" update period...
