Default EA wants to be hated by everyone

This is exactly what we all wanted, right? (said no one ever)

You know i always said "i wish i could pay more money than the initial cost to get full enjoyment from a game" i enjoy and embrace this desicion.

I won't buy any game with pay to play options... so I'm hardly going to buy a game with extra costs in built.
I'm willing to spend money to buy a game, after that its mine to play and I want access to everything. I'm not even happy about additional DLC and it makes me really angry if its designed pre-release.

Honestly I don't see the problem here, especially if its done in any way similar to how it was handled in dead space 3.

I used the micro-transaction system two times in my first play through and not at all in my second; and that was only because I had $3 in my account that I was not using.

Ultimately all I got was a slightly stronger weapon than what I was already using and a few more resources to upgrade my character. The added resources probably knocked half an hour to an hour of grinding out of my way, allowing me to better enjoy my game.

If EA is able to maintain the system to where its there, and can be a help, but is not a must then all the more power to them.

Damnation is paved on good intentions; subtle and sugar coated or blunt and honest
A hero is someone who steps up when everyone else backs down.
Popularity is what people strive for when they lack the strength to be themselves.

Seriously, is it really that hard to write reviews without spoilers?

In the long run I see this being the model for all games. DLC is popular on multiple platforms. Free to play games make a killing in micro transactions. Ect ect.

I don't get what the problem is.

You pay a price for the base game and it comes with the ability to pay more to get more. If anything I see this as a positive step away from previous games that had no on going development, once the game was done it was done and you had to go and buy "Awesome Cool Game 2" for an even greater price that had no real connection to "ACG 1"

As a principle, I don't really like this. But if you can still get something in game without paying for it, but you still have the option to pay for it to get it quicker, then I guess i'd be fine with it. If I can still earn that piece of gear without paying for it, cool, because i'm not going to waste money for something like that. If someone else pays money to get that bit of gear, then hey, good for them. As long as I can get it too, without paying for it. I like to earn my gear, thank you.

If it is just the format where the best gear is pay to get only, then i'm against it, because there are people who will not pay for it, but those that do pay for it will have one up on everyone. That ruins games for me.

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.
