Have you played mount and blade? Very similar (played chivalry demo on steam).

Can you take arms and legs off with Mount and Blade?

I played the first one and didnt seem anywhere near as much fun.

Ive played chiv wotr and all m&b games and i like em all for different reasons. I like chiv cause its not too serious but id say at a high skill level wotr is probably the hardest of the lot (also cause of them constantly changing the bloody mechanics)
