Default LEGO Lord of the rings

Spent a few hours last night playing the latest Lego game, im a huge LOTR and lego fan so this game was a must purchase, and i have to say it doesnt disapoint, it follows the movie and has lots of cut scenes, also its the first Lego game with dialogue, all taken from the movie and some original.

What i wasnt expecting was the game play starts with you the player taking control of Elrond and Elandir and taking on Sauron at the Battle of Dagorlad on Mount Doom as in the opening of the first film.

Loads of excellent Lego comedy moments and puzzle solving in the game play, while staying in pace with the movie.

If your a lotr fan its worth picking up for something a bit different.

Awesome Sauce, I'll be picking that up when my toy budget allows

I have Star Wars Saga & Batman, although I've yet to finish them....

Quite fancy the Indiana Jones one as well......

Thanks for the endorsement bits. My wife loves those games and I was considering that as a Christmas gift.

Tawa, keep in mind that those games were made better over time. The older the game the more awkward the camera angles and the controls. Batman is pretty clunky. Indy and Indy part 2 are good. Star wars complete saga is monumental, but comparatively clunky as well. Harry potter part 1 is really well done.

I have high hopes for Harry potter part 2, pirates of the Caribbean, and lord of the rings.

Bloody hell, thanks Kreuger! I'd forgotten about the Pirates one!
Pirates & Indy for me for Xmas.

Guess it's the Harry ones for the wife then....

Yeah, the SW & Batman ones are kinda clunky. Probably a subconscious reason they only go on once in a while....
Isn't there a Batman2?
