Default Gaming Nostalgia

Just been rummaging through the loft, found an old master system and Mega drive. Still works so had a bit of a session reliving my childhood years.

Just to put it out there, anyone feel nostalgic about the old consoles ( 1st-3rd Generation) consoles that were around in the 80s and 90s, and if so, what was your favourite console and game?

To get the ball rolling, I still enjoy playing Chakan on the Mega Drive, alongside Streets of Rage- my personal favourites.

I'm an environments artist, and am still waiting for an apology from mum and dad for saying you play too much games! I live games, and have got my own games room full of consoles from 30 years ago to today. On the megadrive, Sonic series, Streets of Rage series, Vectorman 1 + 2, rolo the Elephant, Mickey Mania, World of Illusion...Megadrive is my fave and always will be :D:D:D:D

i was of the atari-spectrum-C64 generation too, favorites included but not limited to

Ghosts and goblins, monty mole,thrust,720,green beret, way of the exploding fist,International Karate and IK+, operation wolf, Ikari warriors, Uridium, the list would go on for pages.
Then progressed on to the amiga500, discovered populous and lord of the rising sun amongst others.
plus sega master system and everything that follwed it, up to the game cube and dream cast, missed out the xbox and ps2 and 360 because i prefer PC. but fell in love again when i discovered the PS3 and its Blu ray player.

A friend of mine was talking about this the other week, he was having a personal conflict about gaming, he felt that he was now "too old" to be using a games console (hes late 30's), i said that playing games isnt the realm of the young, your parents must have played or still play games, be that board games like scrabble or monopoly or card games like bridge or pontoon, or are regular bingo players or may be dominoes or darts at the pub? i see computer games as just my generations "dominoes".

HUGE BITZ RESTOCK NOW ON
