Oh yes. Put ~100 hours into the betaweekends and enjoyed it immensely. First game I've really looked forward to in a long time.

Planning on a sylvari necromancer as my primary, probably an asura warrior as a secondary (despite the WoW gnome/ Final Fantasy moogle impression I got from them initially, I really enjoyed their starting area and storylines during BWE3

@Zet- Aug 28, early start on the 25th if you preordered.

Still trying to decide if i want to bury myself in another MMO.

Everything i've seen so far has been amazing though, and i'm certain i'll be signed up soon. Ranger or Ele i expect.

I know that GW2 will be a persistent world, but will there be any player crafting?

While I don't mind a little grind, I dont want to be stuck with a system like for-everquest, or 12 months to GM skills in UO.... dont get me started on WoW, thats for kiddies....

Yes. There will be crafting, but from what I can gather it'll be different somehow to most MMOs.

As for grind, it's possible to level to max entirely from PvP, also known as the manly and heroic way to play this.

Personally, I just really want the Codex Arena from GW1 in the small scale PvP.
For those who didn't play, it was a mode where every profession would be given a random 'sealed' selection of skills for that day, and you could only have one of each primary profession in a match. This way, it stopped min-max teams and really made arena more tactical, as any enemy profession has access to the same skills, so you know what they may or may not have taken.

I'm looking forward to wondering about, i love the way exploration is rewarded in GW2.

I never end up doing the stuff you're supposed to do in MMOs, just twatting about and PVP'ing.
