Default Need 1 person with Halo 3 Campaign, Xbox LIVE and Mad skills

Me and a friend are trying to do the Vidmaster challenge with four people on ghosts; we've got three so far and are looking to do this in about 30 minutes.

Anybody in?

As long as you can not-die in Campaign, it'll be fine.

I would say yes as well, but sadly I cant play games during the week. Only Fridays, saturdays and sundays. Unless its a holiday or summer vacation. If you'd be willing to wait till tomorrow sometime, i'll be happy to join you, because I too need that vidmaster challenge.

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.

R.I.P. Uncle Lee. You will be greatly missed by us all. We will see each other again some day.

If us lot can organise a time, I'd be happy to join a team of four of us and do it twice; I'll try as best I can to hang back a little bit and not to die. I can see there being some really f***ing annoying deaths on that level.. Like random flood coming out of nowhere and murdering one of us, or dying on the hold-out on top of the spire (A point where I recommend running and hiding like a little girl and letting the NPCs do it), 343 killing us during that crap excuse for a boss fight or falling down a random hole on the driving bit.

I think we need to sort out a battle-plan if this is going to happen;

Split the BRs or shall we each specialise?

BRs can hang back and pop off individuals when exiting the cave into the opening as flood pods begin to land. No running in!

Slowly make our way along the right of the tower, picking off any flood before they can kill us.

I've found the small patch where you actually get onto the tower (where the flamethrower is) is a horrible fight. There is, however, a small bit of cover further up to the right up against the ice cliff.

Grenades work well for killing shooter forms (I forget the proper name) as does the flame-thrower for all mutating flood (Tanks, shooters and stalkers are all the same thing; they just switch between those three forms). If someone takes the flame-thrower and people can draw the fire of the shooters, the two that I recall being on the first floor just before the doorway can be quickly dispatched. Doorways refer to the little openings you go through as you move up the tower; you have to go through two mandatory and there is a third at the top.

On the next area, there is a tank form that can be easily killed by the flamethrower, however it may be best to just go through to initiate the spawning of flood and then hanging back and letting marines / Sgt. Johnson (With the Spartan Laser) slowly kill them all. Flood do spawn behind you however, so I think it would be best to fight our way back down to the cliff.

We then move up a small ramp onto the second level, which one started initiates another wave of flood which start jumping from the top of the spire; some pods will drop down nearby and I'm pretty sure one of those b*stards has a shotgun so try not to get close.

I honestly can't remember if any flood spawn in the next bit before you move up the ramp and onto the top level. I'd advise we go up here, deploy the crappy little sentinel floaty guns and then go hide under the ramp we just came up until Johnson & Friends clear out the flood. Once that's done, Johnson will call for Chief to go up to the door, then we go inside and have to deal with 343. I'm not sure how that works in co-op, as in single player the arbiter is incapacitated. In addition to that, we're not all gonna have the same weapons. I'd advise one of us taking the spartan laser and the other three should just concentrate on not dying; Spark's laser is normally not a problem (It's like a slow skipping rope that takes off your shields) but he does have a push ability which can throw you off the edge of the platform.

After killing spark, there will be a few flood inside of the spire; these are mostly infection forms and (I'm pretty sure non-shielded) elite combat forms (So plasma weapons). Grenades will work, as will shooting them with anything else, though it's best to keep ammo.

As we exit the spire, there will be some sentinels floating past; if ignored, they will just carry on to go and fight the flood. I propose that we instantly go and get the ghosts and arduously kill all of the flood at a range with the ghost's plasma weapons because there's unlimited ammo and it minimalises risk of being killed by the flood. Once they're all dead, we need to take it in turns to get out Ghosts over the little ice ramp and into the corner.

Up ahead there is an opening in the cliff; everything outside is going to be dead but inside is a different story. There's a few sentinels fighting mostly non-shielded elite forms in there; once we initiate the spawn we should just hang outside and wait for someone to come out victor and then slaughter them. We need to then go back and get our ghosts; I'd advise just bringing them into this room and then moving forward a little bit on foot.

Move through this small room, we will be greeted with a carrier form (Yaaay...) which needs to be killed with a quick follow up of killing any infection forms that pop out. A great tip I got before, though it's not always 100% effective, is to stick plasma grenades to the carrier forms as this kills most/all of the infection forms that they carry. As we run through the area, I'm pretty sure there's another two carrier forms which we'll need to kill just for safety. Then we'll bring the ghosts through.

Whoever is at the front of our ghost conga-line is going to turn the corner to be greeted by a ramp; over the top of this ramp is a rather size-able swarm of infection forms and the ghost's weapons seem to be very good at killing them. Just fire into the swarm and you should set of the chain-pop which kills most/all of them.

Once this is done, we move out and completely ignore Johnson's warthog to race along the exploding Halo ring and towards the frigate. I'd advise people to go on Halo 3 and play from Rally Point Bravo (Presuming there is a Rally Point Bravo... Just go from the last rally point) about half a dozen times, just so you know what to expect; where the holes are, what blows up and which routes are best taken. Unfortunately, if you go from the Rally point you won't be able to do this in a Ghost as they don't spawn unless you play from the start of the mission. Things I'd advise on the driving bit; never use the small track underneath the main road in tunnels as it's easy to fall off; try to avoid flood, but they are very vulnerable to splatter kills so don't be scared to mow them down if you have to.. Unless they're infection forms as they explode; try not to get shot by sentinels.. Maybe easier said than done, but they can easily ruin it all!; lastly, when making the final jump please ensure that you are going as fast as you possibly can. Only one of us needs to make the jump as long as we're all in ghosts, but you don't want to fall short and die right at the end. Oh, and kindly don't stop off to visit the insane grunt.. It's hilarious, but might kill us.

Oh, and it would be nice if you all had mics... Unfortunately my one friend doesn't, but maybe I can by-pass that at least a little bit if he has a mic on MSN and I turn my volume up nice a loud. I've got a good mic which some friends like me to play music through (Not that I'll be doing that).

I'd help but helping 27 people with that challenge burnt me out.
