There really is no problem with the game Blizzard are selling, you need to be online constantly, that's just a requirement of the game. You need a Monitor and a keyboard as well, just requirements of the game. The issue is that the Blizzard service level has been unacceptably bad. They didn't sneak this always online element into games people had already bought, you bought it knowing what you're getting into. If you buy something which is exactly as described and you know full well you don't like it then that's our fault. As I said before if the Blizzard servers had held up no one would care about this topic.

TheSpore, how do you get your mighty stalion all the way up there in your ivory tower? Must be a squeeze.

The last innovative RTS was what, SupCom in 2005?
SupCom was just a Total Annihilation sequel. For Innovation you want Perimeter (2004) , Defcon (2006), Sins of a Solar Empire (2009)

Oh yes, I forgot Perimeter.

Is Sins OSE actually that innovative? I haven't played it but it looked like just another space RTS to me from pictures and trailers. Even so, 3 years since that, 6 years since the one before. Not good.

90% of people think they are above average.

Statistically Improbable. Psychologically Inevitable.
