Default Next game in Total War series? Poll

For everyone out there who's been playing the Total War series, what type of game would you like to be released next? I would love to see Rome 2 Total War, tbh.

Rome Total War was awesome so i would like to see a second one. Warhammer Total War would be cool as well but, as much as i like WW1 WW2, i just dont see how it would work.

A World War era Total War could be cool, as could a Warhammer Total War. As others have stated though, a Rome 2 is more likely.

Regards,
Jake.

I need to get my roman on again. I just can't play R:TW after M2:TW or Shogun 2, which is a shame.

The graphics let it down, and the evolution of controls make S2 and M2 much better. I only hope they make it far more mod friendly, even if they release mod tools as DLC.

I would love either a Rome 2 or a Mythology Total War. Each expansion could have something neat like an entire new pantheon and the corresponding characters and mythical beasts and factions.

A Renaissance version, or Rome II.

There is great LOTR mod for Medieval 2. I forgot it's name.

I would like to see new Rome next.

There's several good mods available

Third Age - just recently come out with the ability to play battles within settlements like Moria, Minas Tirith, and there is a new patch expected shortly.

Call of Warhammer - is good, and brutal gameplay, but to me just feels like it's too much like it's simply a Total War game with Warhammer models. I don't think the team have really captured the essense of Warhammer Fantasy.

Stainless Steel - About the best medieval mod for gameplay, especially when you add in *BYG* and *Really bad AI* mods. It also has more than a touch of historical accuracy, which is only limited by the game engine.

Sicilian Vespers - sadly not as well known or with as high a following as Stainless Steel, but with the slightly smaller land mass, it has a much more historical accuracy (right down to the names), afforded by not having to make a choice between making fairness, accuracy or variety. Good fun as well.

There are a couple of upcoming mods as well for M2TW I'm looking forward to -All Under Heaven (Medieval Far East Asia), Europa Barbarum (Roman), and Dominion of the Sword (Historical Accuracy Supermod)

Covering ancient China would be an interesting counterpart to Shogun and Shogun 2, would be a new setting rather than re-doing existing games, and could tap into the massive Chinese market (assuming the PRC doesn't take offence and ban it on some spurious grounds).
