Default Star Wars Battlefront III files on Raccoon City disc

Some Star Wars Battlefront III (!!!) files have been found on the Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City disc, as reported by Eurogamer.net and Inside Gaming.

The developer Slant Six has obviously at some point been working on a Star Wars Battlefront title (The rumored SW: BF Online, or SW: BF III?). Dont know whatever one should be happy that they seem to no longer be on it, cause Operation Raccoon city was a steaming pile of crap.

But hey, now there is legit New Hope for a Battlefront sequel!

"Hey, do you know where we put the files for Battlefront 3?"

"Well... I thought you had them?"

"No, I gave them to you."

"Oh. Wait, those were battlefront files? I thought they were more files for Raccoon City!"

"You don't mean..."

"The disk has already gone out! We're so fired man!"

Racoon city = Glitchy mess. At least something of worth was found in the game.

This was likely done with hopes that attention would be brought to the Battlefront III project which met an untimely end. Hopefully a studio picks up interest in the project, though I wouldn't mistake this as a clear cut sign that someone is working definitively on the game.
