Halo: Combat Evolved was the best Halo game made.

Used to play it on Xbox and PC, and became quite 1337 on the PC version (Pistols FTW!)

Just wanted to say that they OP missed a great opportunity to name this thread "Say Halo, Wave Goodbye"!

I can't help but recall the time where a buddy and I managed to get 82 kills in a single Assault match in Halo 3. We were crewing a Gauss 'Hog, I the gunner as usual, and we mopped the floor with the opposing team. Oh, the carnage... The adrenaline...

Big Team Battle was the only way to play, if you ask me.
