Default Black Ops 2 in November

According to the French video game site FNAC, CoD: Black Ops 2 is coming on the 12th of November, so pretty much exactly a year after MW3. No price tag, but it is safe to assume its gona be one of those 69.95. expansion packs.

I hope they really do something else than just slap new maps onto the same old engine this time around...

I'm not the least bit excited. The Call of Duty franchise has gotten pretty mOldy the past couple of years and I'm tired of the reskins. It's just like a sports title, except Fifa and NHL have the excuse of offering new rosters/etc. Seriously, the CoD developers can't even choose interesting weapons anymore.

You can tell they don't thoroughly research anything, which says a lot about how much they care about actually creating a good game. I'm not saying CoD is downright horrible, but I'm sure anyone could agree that they would like to see something fresh and awesome from CoD.

Creatively speaking, they need new management. Severely. But that'll never happen until they stop spending half their budget on commercials and get their mouths off the teet of the cash cow.

Activision has previous, Guitar Hero and Tony Hawkes.
Wont be buying, MW3 made me rage at their laziness, I think I would seriously lose my shit if I got this.
Roll on Halo 4

It would be interesting if Halo 4 is actually good. I have my doubts, but either it will be another cash cow game or a legit title worthy of the Halo name.

My last CoD game was Black Ops. Despite its flaws, I can say with certainty that it was the last CoD game I enjoyed. MW3 felt like a PSP afterthought game. Battlefield 3 may not be the most innovative thing around, but it is nevertheless a reliable franchise. Thus it has become my FPS go-to game.

I hope it will be worthy of its name, just as I hope that it will be filled with innovation and originality, for the one reason that people cannot say that its "just another Halo". This is the first Halo game I dont put enough faith in to grab it before reading a few reviews. While 343i did a damn good job on Halo: CEA, it was still Bungie`s game.

When I tried MW3 on the Steam free weekend I was even more let down than I thought I would be. It felt and looked exactly the same as MW2. I was so happy that I had not bought it, and instead grabbed Battlefield 3.

Yeah, I was impressed with Halo: CEAE but I was hoping for more than a mere handful of multiplayer maps. It was awesome to see them remake Headlong, one of my favorites from Halo 2. I still feel like I didn't get as much as I should have for the price.

At least I still have my Halo: CE copy.

They should have remade all of the multiplayer maps from Halo Combat Evolved. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to see some of the old, fun maps remade, but still. There were a few that werent remade, that were some of my favorite maps. I was disappointed when I saw that

On topic, another black ops? Really? I enjoyed the campaing of the first one, but I didn't care for the multiplayer at all. Havent played any of the modern warfares at all. Its just ridiculous that one is released every year with little to no improvement whatsoever. Fucking greedy bastards

My youtube channel. Feel free to stop by and have a look if you're interested. I do Airsoft, some warhammer related videos, and gaming videos.

R.I.P. Uncle Lee. You will be greatly missed by us all. We will see each other again some day.

Why do only NHL and Fifa have the excuse of offering new rosters but Madden, NBA, and MLB do not?

On topic, I hope this is the Call of Duty that bombs because right now the industry is terrible because of Mega releases like this.

As to Halo 4, I remember watching that announcement at E3 and hearing people give a confused, "I thought this was going to be something else cheer." As everyone wanted and expected a new IP, not Halo 4-6.

Yeah, and then everyone is like, "OMG! A NEW COD! IT'S SO EFFING AMAZING!" And it sucks, like most do. CoD stopped being fun after WaW.

I was generalizing, actually. Wasn't saying they're the only ones to have updated rosters, etc. It's just that sports games have a more legit excuse for being released so often.
