Default Customizing DLC armor sets in Space Marine

I found this amazing glitch for Space Marine while surfing the web, and I just have to share it with you Heretics.

The DLC skins for Space Marine are in all honesty dip-shit expensive for just being a cosmetic set, and it is a small pain that you cannot customize them.

For example, the Blood Angels Veteran set is awesome, but I dislike the gold helmet. I want a standard red one, but since the skin is locked, this is not possible.

But, due to this awesome glitch, the DLC skins are almost fully customize able.

Below I have added my short guide for how to customize the skins. It works on all the DLC skins, just pick one and its all game.

I tested this on the PC version, and have not been able to test it on the consoles since I dont own any DLC on the Xbox version, but from what I have read/heard/seen it should be possible, but dont quote me on that one. (Might buy one and check just for the sake of it later.)

Just follow the instructions in the below video, and this will work.

Below I have a few pics of some subtle changes I did to the Blood Angels and Alpha Legion skins.

And of course, the Ultramarines Chaplain I made in the video. Now someone just needs to find a way to re-skin weapons for multiplayer.

I really prefer the Blood Angels without that gold helmet!

what would the console equivilant of 'Q' be for xbox/ps3? Also have you been able to use this glitch to mix and match with the other DLC armor sets? or does it only work with one set and then all the regular armor?

Some days i swear my dice are trying to get me killed.
Is it bad sportsmanship to cackle evilly during ones game?

It only works with the armour you choose and the regulars. Basically you do the same thing
-Select DLC Armour
-Set Active Appearance
-Loadouts
-Spam 'X' on the 360
-Go back
-Choose DLC Armour
-1st Appearance slot is the cuztomizable one
