Default Killzone 3 "free to play" multiplayer to hit PSN

Killzone 3`s multiplayer is set to hit PSN as a free to play trial with a level cap and stuff, with full access available for purchase once you hit the level cap.

I like Killzone 2, and that would be the one reason for me to buy a PS3, but I heard that the third one was a bit meh?

I don't have a PS3 but I've always enjoyed the Killzone series. Including the 3rd one. I might get a PS3 someday as their exclusives really appeal to me (Killzone, Uncharted, Resistance to name a few).

Regards,
Jake.

Lol and I just bought KZ3 on Thursday night. Hahaha - thats fine I really wanted to play teh campaign anyway.

I bought the PS3 for games like this, even though the 360 is cheaper, has kinect and Fable, I couldn't pass up KZ3, MGS4, Bluray and I thought Resistance (i was fucking wrong about that last one!)

Shame, I really enjoyed the 3rd one from what little I managed to play of it. It may well have gone downhill from where I left off though.

Regards,
Jake.

I've only played the first one and it fucked me off so much if I had any other game I would have played it (i'd only just bought my PS3 at the time) - I wouldn't touch that franchise again with a 10 foot barge pole. The level designs seemed so badly put together ergo as the game got harder they simply made the enemies harder and harder and in more numbers - not designed the actual pathways so that you had to think and adapt, it was like: play it 15 times to figure out where you needed to be when to kill x amount of guys before moving to another point to kill y amount etc became a frustrating memory exercise in the end - basically the entire game was like killing Radec in KZ2. Irritating.

Anyway - I'm mos def looking forward to KZ3.
