Default Whats the Best Way to Extend Memory on an XBOX 360?

Hi there!

Having recently received an XBOX 360 for christmas I started using it. However the model I have I believe to have low memory so I have no room for HD content etc.

Does anyone on heresy who has had similar issues know of a decent external hard drive or similar device that would work on an XBOX?

Much thanks appreciated.

I have recently started a new Blog. I would really appreciate it if you would LOOK AT IT

Afaik you will have to buy a new hard drive for it.

Those big ones tend to be around 90€ and usually come with a game.

If you're after more space to save your games on, then your best bet is to grab an 120gb hard drive from your local electronic store.

If your after a hard drive to plug into your xbox to watch movies and listen to music from, I believe it should recognize most hard drives when you plug them in. Alternately, if you have an ipod you can plug it straight into your xbox and listen/view from there

External drives get max'ed at 16 GB, because that's all the Xbox will format it to.

While you can Hack the system to take other size hard drives I wouldn't recommend it, as it could become problematic later on.

I would just buy the 250 GB HD replacement for $100.
