The Lovers Stone bonus isnt as good as the one for sleeping in the same bed as a spouse.
Still not sure if i want to cure lycanthropy, i find it amusing running around as a werewolf.

As for multiple effect potions; yes, some of them can be amusing, i read some where that there are four potions possible that have five different effects.
Speaking of Elemental resistance: it just occured to me that i should carry around a few potions of Resist Fire/Frost for when i run into Ancient Dragons. They are the only enemies that can kill me in Seconds, even given my atmospheric armor value, just one breath attack can kill me, not sure how effective they will be but its better than running away and taking potshots at them mid flight.

Lovers Stone and Lover's Comfort are both 15% bonuses, but obviously with the stone you lose you other buff. Still the Lovers Stone is better for thief's than the Thief Stone (Bows are Warrior, Illusion is Mage).

Having some elemental resistance is always good. Lydia carts around a selection if 50% resistance Shields for me to use in an opportune moment. Being a Breton I have only just noticed that you can use the Atronach Stone with Dragonskin to make yourself totally Immune to spells for a minute, which is handy.

Indeed, i think i will see if i can find a few and keep them on me, two of each should suffice. 50% resistance would be nice but 40 or 30 would help greatly, i could run up to the damnable things without dying, giving me time to strafe around them while power attacking and hopefully keeping out of the way of its breath attacks. Most of the time they will favour stomp attacks if you are at their side or behind any way, so i should be fine.

Just Enchant yourself a ring or something so you can keep your great Armour set.

In other news I actually tried out the Bound Bow + Soul Stealer and it works pretty well. The Bow is fairly high damage as it's based on my Archery and Conjuration skills and my sack of Soul Gems is all full up now.

I already have enchanted jewellry, both Ring and Necklace enchanted with 45% bonus to sneak. Potions are the only way to go.
Armor Set as is:

Dragonscale Armor - 35% bonus to HP Regen
Dragonscale Helmet - 45% bonus to attacks with Bows
Dragonscale Gauntlets - 45% bonus to One Handed Attacks
Dragonscale Boots - 45% bonus to Sneak
Silver Sapphire Ring - 45% bonus to Sneak
Silver Sapphire Necklace - 45% bonus to Sneak

Excellent. I never use Soul Trap, i just buy Greater and/or Grand Soulgems, i have recently just acquired Azura's Star (White) though so i may try to trap something in it.

Started a SpellSword character last night (Dark Elf), going well so far. Died once running away from a Bandit Chief, he needed to be alive for the beginnings of the Companions quest line. I figured i could take his minions out for a quick XP boost but he ended up chasing me and cut me down after i ran out of Stamina. I think i am going to miss the amount of Stamina i have on my other characters.
Magicka is working better than i thought it would and, with the Perks for half Magicka usage, lasts longer than i thought, only used my Sword as backup if they got too close.

That's a nice set of Armour and Equipment, I think I'm running something like

Dwarven Helmet - 30% Archery Bonus
Dwarven Armour - 48% Magika Regen
Steel Boots - 18% Frost Resistance
Steel Gauntlets - 20% Archery Bonus
Ring - 38% Archery Bonus
Amulet - 30% Magika Regen

Something along those lines, then whatever weapon combo I go for, usually a Bow. If you can get a constant supply of good Soul Gems there's no point soul trapping really, I just find it handy to make sure they're all topped up so I can recharge my Weapons and turn things into magical vendor trash.

Mages get a lot a bitching about them because they're not as powerful early on and you can kinda cripple yourself if you push one skill way ahead of the others. I think the main problems is Stealth is almost broken in the game, so it seems stupid not to go down that path.

Dark Elf
Sneak 94
Archery 74
One-Handed 75
Lockpicking 60
Smithing 80

He runs around with some of the Nightingale armour for the bow bonuses and the Ancient Assassin armour for constant muffle and backstab bonus.

Finding this Spellsword character hard going, i die a lot...
Magicka is not as powerful as it needs to be or atleast it should increase in power as bladed skills do. But it doesnt, more powerful spells are the only way. I cant even buff my destruction damage output.
I'm using my Sword more than Magicka just to not die.

I am currently playing a nord woman, level 15. I have also played as a high elf, focusing all on magicka, but I prefer this character, focusing on stealth and archery. If I am in a heated battle, though, I use the MACE TO THE FACE technique. All good fun
