I'm still (impatiently waiting) for steam to reduce the price from 34.99 to around 27 or less before I can get the game. I've just waited to long for a discount to give in now, even though I really really want the game. Plus on the bright side patches are still being released regularly enough, so at least when I sit down to play the game for the first time it will be a smother experience.

Back on topic though, I was hoping to share an idea I had for my first character, and maybe get some feedback and hopefully ease my desire to purchase the game ASAP lol.

For my first character I was thinking of playing as an Ork because I've never really tried them in Eldar Scrolls because I hated pure combat or the sword and board / hack and slash variety.

However I was thinking of running an Ork Battlemage on my first play through on Skyrim.

His Heavy Armour would be enchanted to absorb enemy magica attacks, his jewelry would be enchanted to buff his stats, his weapons would be enchanted to perhaps drain enemy magica and/or health.

Then the kinds of spells he learned would be designed to aid him in combat, so things like Silence, Paralyze and other non-killy and non-buff based magic, but instead ones based on complimenting his offensive capabilities.

What do you guys think, I've played lots of Oblivion Eldar Scrolls, but was thinking this might be fun for Skyrim, as my usual choice is always a Thief/Poisoner/Sneaky/Assassin type Argonion, Wood Elf or Dark Elf.
