Default Need Help on Making a Decision. NOW!

Hi there!

Unless you have been living under a rock for sometime then you may well be aware that both Battlefield 3 and Batman: Arkham City are being released soon. However I can only really afford one of them (since I want to attend the March Fantasy Throne of Skulls tournament) so I would appreciate any advice on which game I would pick up.

Thanks for spending your time in this.

I have recently started a new Blog. I would really appreciate it if you would LOOK AT IT

While both games are great, I bet you will get a lot more hours out of Battlefield 3. By a long margin.

Buy Battlefield 3 and then get Arkham City when it comes down in price a bit after the GT. That way, you get all three things (eventually).

Not a big fan of shooters but I am playing Batman AC currently and it is an amazing game. I'm having a lot of fun with it.

Plus Nightwing DLC? Come On.

BF3 is, to put it mildly, FUCKING AWESOME!

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?

I second Skyrim for pure value for money....by the time you have completed that you could probabley pick the other 2 up for about £15 each.
I'll tell you exactly what i tell my customers at work, whilst batman is amazing, it is very short lived. Also it doesn't have a lot of replay value once you've collected the collectables. It's got the same problem as the assassins creeds games in that they have an amazing story but once you've finished them they don't have a multiplayer.

Battlefield has an amazing multiplayer once the single player is finished and will allow you to keep going back to the game.

As a general rule, i personally don't buy games without a multi player for full price (acception to the elder scrolls games and fallout, they have so much life anyway that i don't need the multiplayer to add length) purely because i find it's nearly impossible to get good value for money out of them when they tend to be so short.

Because Skyrim won't be so loaded with bugs it will be near unplayable on Launch day

Bethesda sucks at their launches so much, I remember people complaining to me at Gamestop when Fallout 3 launched on PS3 that it would crash before you exited Vault 101 and Bethesda stated it was a KNOWN BUG. How do you release a game like that?

Granted, when the game is finished 3-6 months down the road it'll be worth the play
