Modelling Techmarines *Help*

I got my hands on 3 Techmarine + Servitor Packs the other day for $100 and I'm up to the assembly stage, i don't want them all to look the same, but it looks like I'm going to shave some years off my life just painting and assembling them.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks for Techmarines?

Cheers,
Chris

You could find someone with 2 Thunderfire cannons and do a swap. (Unless you already have a TF cannon)
Shame your in Aus coz I'm trying to do that the other way round.

As an aside why would you want 3 techmarines? Theyre HQ choice arent they? So you can only field 2 max.

Their an elite choice rather than HQ, the master of the forge is the HQ equivilent, but they are fantastic in apocalypse games. in normal games you could field 8 tech marines in total. 2 MotF, 3 elites and 3 thunderfire crew, but its not a good idea

Assembe the marine and backpack seperatly, and paint them seperatly otherwise you'll just break them trying to paint them

I'm working on an Iron Hands force to assist my GK, i really only bought them because of their 'inexpensiveness' but they do look rather cool also.
