Question 1) Saruman sent Radagast the Brown to bring Gandalf to Isengard, where Saruman imprisoned him. What was the undoing of Saruman's plot that resulted in Gwaihir the Windlord later rescuing Gandalf from the pinnacle of Orthanc?

Wasn't Gwaihir returning with information for/ from Redagast and discovered Gandalf on the pinnacle of Orthannc?

Pretty much. I was looking for a little more information though (Gandalf sending Radagast news of Saruman's betrayal and when Radagast saw that Saruman has clouded his own mind from Radagast, he had no reason not to believe him and then Gwaihir found Gandalf at the top of Orthanc) but I'll give it to you anyway and get some new questions posted up later. That'll add another +5 rep to the +7 I already owe you, once I can give you rep again.

Regards,
Jake.
