The one scene that always gets me - although you dont see him dying is the ending of "Man on fire" where he gives himself up to save the little girl. Dont know why it moved me so much - maybe im not the monster i once thought i was...

I echo a lot of the ones above, but I always have a tear at the end of Armageddon.. as well as when bruce willis takes Ben Afflecks spot.

The death of lumpy the orc really touches me. (well the 2 minutes leading up to it at least!)

A few of my favorite deaths (what an odd thing to say) would be from two of my favorite anime series.

first off Gurren Lagann

Trigun

Some days i swear my dice are trying to get me killed.
Is it bad sportsmanship to cackle evilly during ones game?

David Tennant's Dr Who "death" was quite sad to.

Yes, but if anyone ever asks "Are you crying?" always say "No... something is in my eye!"

10th Dr Regeneration
That scene is fantastic, best Doctor Who death ever. When he looked back at all his companions and saw they were fine you could really feel his pride, and his final words are brilliant.

The deaths of Toshiko and Owen on Torchwood were very good as well, I felt Owen's death was the best of the series's deaths yet. His initial fear then acceptance through Tosh was very well written.
