I don't really like the trailer, it's all a bit samey & brooding for me

If you watch The imaginarium of Dr parnassus, you can see Andrew Garfield flexing his 'likeable and cocky yet confused and troubled' acting chops which should enable him to play a brilliant spiderman.

With the exception of the parker parents, the trailer seems very similar in tone & context to the first raimi film, even a few of the shots look similar.

I'm all for the reboot, but I hope they're going to change a lot more than just the story.

Well going back to the mechanical webshooters, hopefully means we see more of 'Smart Parker' then the Raimi ones... and including his parents may mean we get alot more of the backstory...
Given its developed by Sony rather then Marvel Studios, which version of them we see will be interesting.. the Sheild Agents? The Ultimate Universe biologist who worked on the super soldier formula? Who knows...
What with The Lizard being the main villain too.. its defiantely a different story, and possibly a more intimate one given the relationships between the haracters that could develope...

I just hope it doesn't suffer from thetoo many villains syndrome of previous ones, given that Nels Van Adder is meant to appear too...
