Most video game movies tend to suck ass, though if people can replicate how good Jerry Bruckheimer captured the Prince of Persia series I would be down for it.

Uncharted is an easy series to adapt to film, as it's basically a re-skin of Indiana Jones.

Assassins Creed would most likely be lame, shot in crappy 3d all so Altaļr/Ezio/Desmond (because it will be a trilogy) to do the leap down and stab with the wrist blade.

I personally think many FPS games would make great film adaptions.

many of the FPS games would make some good films, but I was so dissapointed in Doom, and it wasn't the cheesy FPS scene I thought that was kinda cool actally it was the fact that entire story was completely changed into something that was not at all Doom.

Last time I checked in the game they literally opened the gates of hell, in the movie they found an extra chromosone that made mean people into monsters, oh and the Rock became a crazed lunatic superhuman, what kind of shit was that.

I can't help but say.. The Halo Series, 1, 2 and 3. No 4, no ODST, no Reach.
Gears of War.
Dead Space.
Fallout... Maybe... If they made it more extravagent and stuff, it would be more interesting. For instance, having the entire sequence from Start to end of Broken Steel.

I believe I heard that they ARE in fact making a Halo movie. I'm not sure about it, but who knows.

Let me see here... Assassins Creed might make a good movie. Halo can be made into a movie. Gears of War could make a good movie. Dead Space would be an awesome horror movie. Not sure about Fallout. We all know that 40K would make excellent movies, if they weren't enitirely made up of crappy cg. F.E.A.R., imo, could be a good movie, if it wasnt all CG, crappy acting, and if it followed the main storyline. Bioshock would probably be a good movie if they made one. They might be making one now as a matter of fact.

Kind of going off topic here.
Speaking of Reach, it wasnt all that close to The Fall of Reach book. Still a good game though.

Yea, cause the only part of "The Fall of Reach" that actually described, well, the fall of reach, was a space battle. Notice that the game happened on the ground, over a longer period of time. Go on "Halo Nation" and check out and you will see everything float back together. And it did a good job at linking the events of the first novel with "The First Strike", which happened a bit, well, later.

Lets see here... hmm, in the book with the space battle? Cortana wasn't ever on the ground in the first place. There may have been a fleet bigger than a few ships for the UNSC around the planet, that detail is sketchy at best. In the game, there was no mention of the Super MAC guns or the generators on the ground. The main covenant fleet showed up shortly before the generators were destroyed. They never jumped in system BELOW the defense grid. The covenant launched a full scale invasion of Reach as soon as they jumped in system. That was always what they did when they found a UNSC world. No mention of a super carrier ever being present. There may be some more differences, but I can't remember atm.

"The two fit together almost PERFECTLY." Not really. I enjoyed the game, I really did. Campaign was better than the other Halo campaigns imo. It just didn't tie in to the book that much.
