I got fed up with the HP series in film after the Half Blood Prince, since there was a bit (involving the Room of Requirement) that was kinda crucial for the end of Hallows. Makes me wonder how they'll pull it off.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the novels, I just think that the first three or so films were pretty good, but they got slightly worse what with losing bits from the book I personally loved.

I expect I'll see the film though.

Oh and shouldn't the title be "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"?

Saw the movie the night of the 15th. Good stuff. As a fan of the books I was a little disappointed in some of the things they changed/shifted but the film is good regardless.

My only disappointment with the film was the inclusion of 2 scenes that were only there for the sake of adding 3d to the film, when people see it they will know exactly what scenes I'm talking about.

As with all things like this I still prefer the books to the film, but as the movie to end the series I was a solid one. It is one of the better films in the series.

Well I'm a little unsure how they'll defeat all the death eaters and voldamort in one movie, but its ment to be a great film. The half-blood prince was the only bad one for me, nothing actually happened in my opinion that was anything to do with the storyline.

Saw it today, pretty cool in my opinion. Not the best film out there by any means, but still a good finisher to the series.

I am planning on seeing it in IMAX 3D sometime this week. The shows for it were sold out for the entire weekend and most of Monday as well for well over a week.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?
