The first Iron Throne poster for season 2 has been released.

Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell. Considering that Margaery in the books is a 15 year old, her actress will have to really work to pull this role off. She does look young, but she isn't an adolescent. But hopefully her performance will make the age difference irrelevant.

Another, and possibly the last, major character for season 2 has been confirmed. Balon Greyjoy, father to Theon, and the Lord Reaper of Pyke, has been cast. Patrick Malahide will portray Balon in season 2, and hopefully Balon will get a few more scenes than he did in the book.

Bah, Margaery's actor is ugly. She's got an odd face, they should have had someone younger for the role, and prettier.

Balon Greyjoy's actor looks alright, I can see him having more screentime; even if, really, he is of little importance. He's not the last major character, however - We still have Jojen and Meera, Reek and the Tullys to go.

Edit - Someone named Ian Hanmore is set to play Pyat Pree, a warlock from Qarth; one of the ones who tempts Dany, if I remember correctly. He's not what I imagined Pyat Pree to look like, but I think he will be alright.

Nyctophobia- Fear of the Dark Angel.

"No one ever spoke about of those two absent brothers. Their separate tragedies had seemed like aberrations. Had they, in fact, been warnings that no one had heeded?"

'Killing a man is like fucking, boy, only instead of giving life you take it. You experience the ecstasy of penetration as your warhead enters the enemy's belly and the shaft follows. You see the whites of his eyes roll inside the sockets of his helmet. You feel his knees give way beneath him and the weight of his faltering flesh draw down the point of your spear. Are you picturing this?'
'Yes, lord.'
'Is your dick hard yet?'
'No, lord.'
''What? You've got your spear in a man's guts and your dog isn't stiff? What are you, a woman?'

I don't know about ugly. I think her hair isn't very flattering, she should wear it more like this picture of her from IMDB. In the dress she wears in that poster, with her hair styled like this picture, I think she looks a lot like Margaery should.

Though I agree with younger. They got age-accurate actors for Sansa and Arya Stark, and Arya's actress is really good, they should have gotten one for Margaery, or at least someone in her early twenties like Emilia Clarke for Daenerys who is 14 in Game of Thrones. This isn't 21 Jump Street, it shouldn't have adults playing kids.

Another new cast member. British actor Lucian Msamati has been cast as the pirate and self-styled Prince of the Narrow Sea, Salladhor Saan.

Look for him alongside Liam Cunningham as Davos Seaworth.

Lets be pragmatic, certain roles have to have adults playing kids.

You cannot have certain age-accurate characters being involved in sex/nudity scenes, Dany being the obvious example. But even in other terms as well, Robb is 15 (IIRC) yet the actor who plays him is 24, a 15 year old actor simply wouldn't be able to potray the role as well imo.

Your right on that, it would be wrong to portray child nudity in this series. No child could play Dany's part, too much nudity and sex.

And yet there will be a scene involving said child nudity, though quick and brief hopefully, with Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Joffrey (Jack Gleeson). The scene in ACOK when Joffrey has Sansa's gown ripped off by the Kingsguard in front of the court, and Tyrion comes to the rescue with Bronn and Shagga. That scene is brilliant and I hope they don't cut it, not only does it have Tyrion one-upping Joffrey but it shows that he is an honourable man amongst the cruel Lannister family.

That scene will be cut or altered as it would be essentially illegal to show in the US.

Altered would be acceptable but they can't cut it. Its one of the most powerful scenes in the book, Tyrion essentially telling Joffrey that he's a crap king and he'll likely die young. And the smallest man there standing up for the poor girl, when knights and nobleman only snicker and stare.

I think you made a slight error there, you said powerful but you can only have meant tired and trite.
