Default Wilfred...

...the new U.S. version on the FX channel starring Elijah Wood and Jason Gann.

For those who have no idea.

Quote:
The story of Ryan, a depressed man who believes he is getting nowhere in his life and plans to kill himself. In the middle of his attempted suicide, he is asked to watch his neighbor's dog, Wilfred, but Ryan can only see Wilfred as a real person instead of a animal that everyone else sees. As they begin to bond more and become friends, Wilfred teaches Ryan a life lesson about people, love, and living.
I was skeptical at first, but I thought the first episode was hilarious. I had to remind myself a few times that Wilfred is a dog to forgive him. I haven't seen the Australian original from 2002, but I really like this one so far. I'll have to torrent the original and check it out.

Wilfred is like a good/bad, sex crazed, pot smoking, friend who talks you into doing illegal acts and takes advantage of your friendship.

The commercials looked stupid but I might check it out. Seems to be getting good reviews.

Problem with the first episode was the commercials had literally given away the entirety of the episode.

Hopefully with future episodes they won't quite ruin them with commercials, but hey.

I agree with OBTGOG, though, absolutely hilarious show.
