Default V For Vendetta - What's your opinion?

I'm just watching the film on BBC3 as we speak, but I did download it a few weeks ago. I just hadn't got round to watching it.

I think it's a great film, and a lot of great British actors.

What about you?

It was OK. I wasn't impressed to the point of owning it or even becoming slightly excited if it was on tv. It was a good one time watch, but rather forgettable.

fun rubbish... well worth watching, even re-watching... but I wouldn't spend any money on it.

I recon its probably worth watching just for Hugo Weaving's voice... casting him as V was genius. The rest is all pretty meh, but full of "wasn't he in ...." moments that are always fun.

Love that opening speil from V.

But on this most auspicious of nights, permit me then, in lieu of the more commonplace soubriquet, to suggest the character of this dramatis persona. Voila! In view humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the “vox populi” now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a bygone vexation stands vivified, and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin, van guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it’s my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V.
I didn't know that there were so many V words in the English language.

It was a cool flick. I enjoyed the Graphic Novel more though.

Good stuff all around. Girlfriend bought me it on Blu-Ray. Good stuff.

Good film, different from novel, but good in its own right, although they changed a lot of things. I fuckin' love Alan Moore's work.

Good movie, I've seen it quite a few times due to it playing quite a bit on the television. Elrond has gotta be the best part of the whole movie.

Like some of the others, I have not spent money on it (I do buy movies based on comic book properties). I will though, watch it when it's on.

I have to remember to find the graphic novel it is based on.

Easily one of the best movies of all time.
The speech he gave when he hijacked the tv station was epic.
