Default Camelot

So any one watching this one on channel 4?

I wont post anything other than to say its another take on the Arthurian legend, the first two hours seem to be borrowing quite heavily from Excalibur (which isnt a bad thing in my opinion), lots of tits and ass which seems to be the way forward these days myth and legend dramas.

too early to say how all ten episodes will pan out, there were parts in the first i wasnt too happy about but also some very good parts that kinda made up for the ropey bits, costumes are a little bit questionable in places, sets are nice enough, filmed once again in Ireland using real locations in places, sets in others and CGI in others, its not quite BBC special effect but its also not HBO/movie level either.

Anyway if you havent seen it and your into a bit of sword and sorcery Merlin style give it a go and post your comments.

Also getting the sword out of the stone in this version has to be the toughest yet and everyone whos tried so far has died doing so.

Yeah I watched this the other night and thought it was pretty good, its a good enough show to make me want to watch the whole lot.

I thought the characters were good too, Merlin seems to be quite an entertaining one to watch. Certainly be tuning in for the next ones!

I have 3 episodes on my pc right now that I have yet to watch and I am losing interest in it very rapidly.

one thing I want is the ability to split my fire everywhere, it makes no sense that a squad of 10 guard or marines or whatever all have to fire at 1 target with everything, is the guy with the lascannon not smart enough to realize maybe he would be better off firing at the massive tank looming overhead instead of the little man no bigger than a squat running at him, or is that far too complex for the 10yr olds?
