Default Hangover part 2 - A review

Snuck in an early preview this morning, but it should be playing all over the UK tonight. It is a good film, but unfortunately it doesn't reach the highs of the first one.

It's difficult to review without giving too much away, so i'll break it down into the good and bad aspects. Overall i'd recommend a watch, it's a funny and enjoyable film, but don't go in expecting to be blown away.

- dialogue is good
- main parts are well written
- nicely paced
- great comic acting all round

- too much 'copy paste' from the first film
- very contrived at times
- some of the set-ups are way too timid, others are too far over the line

It's a worthy outing, but seminal sequel it is not

Thanks for the honest review. I will probably wait for BluRay then.

I'll wait for the DVD too. I've not heard many good reviews of this. Its more one of those 'watch it drunk with your friends at home' movies then a 'must go and see at the cinema' ones to me.
