Default Any more Discworld movies being done??!

I love the Discworld books to death, they're my favorite pieces of literature, and Sky One's film adaptations have been nothing short of wondrous so far! But it's hard for us "foreigners" to keep track of developments on the peculiarities of British telly, so I ask the UK members if they'd like to spill the beans! Have you seen any hints of a new one being made?

Ah, thanks! That's one of the few I haven't read. It's a fairly new book.. I hope they'll do Soul Music and most of all, Mort sometime. Mort was probably the best of the books, and really explores Death as a character, which is my favorite character

EDIT: The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents, Thief of Time (!!!), and Feet of Clay were top notch too.

I'll second that. Mort is the best.

Sky have done well so far, here's hoping they don't stop making them anytime soon.

Mort was brilliant... but weirdly, I prefer Reaper Man as a Death book. Probably as its where we first see The Auditors, and The Death of Rats.

They NEED to do Soul Music though.

I have Hogfather. I heard about Colour of Magic, but did not know it was already out. And halfway through the Going Postal trailer I realized I was smiling and couldn't stop. I look forward to this.

Anyone wearing a lilac on the 25th?

I know they not the recent sky one productions but both Wyrd Sisters and Soul Music have been released as a cartoon; I have seen the Wyrd Sisters and its actually not bad albeit I would love to see the Lancre Witches brought to life on Sky

Yes, I will be wearing a Lilac. For a master writer to suffer from Alzheimer's is much akin to a warrior with no legs. It's too sad for words, and I'll do anything I can to show my sincere sympathy.

@demonictalkin56: I actually have the Wyrd Sisters somewhere. It was not too my taste. The Hogfather was so close to what I imagined that I can't now read (or rather re-read) the book without the imagery in my head. I've made it a point to watch it around Christmas.

I'm considering creating a lilac avatar for the day. I'm currently trying to figure out what part of the song to use and in what font.

Sadly, one of my grandaunts began to show signs late last year.
