Spartacus is just full-blown enterntainment which i happen to like aswell, but there is no comparing whatsoever between these two. Another is somewhat historical, although made to look sometimes like a music video and another is fully blown drama.

Spartacus isnt nowhere near to many of HBOs other series, you cant compare these two in any other way except enterteinment value. I get more enterteinment for seeing nice characters reactions spiced up by good dialogue rather than these slow-motioned, too choreographed fight scenes, mixed with CGI blood. Spartacus is quite well made series, but theres no comparing.

I think the guy who play the role did awesome job. You even feel sorry for him, like in a book, when
.

The sixth and seventh episode are definitely best so far. I just wander how will they manage to put all things that are left in next 3 episodes. Maybe some things will be left for second season.

Episode 6 was one of strongest episodes so far. Important scenes with everyone especially Tyrion and Daenerys. Glad that one of may favourites Bronn was handled well too.

Episode 7 has to be the overall best so far in terms of tension. Havent seen Charles Dance lately much, but i remember many his earlier movies and as he portrayed Tywin, yet again another perfect cast. And talk about ending...

Picked myself up a copy of Game of Thrones (novel) for AUS$15 the other day. Been plowing through that recently. Keen to find out what happens, as I havent seen past ep 5.
